۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
