Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 and by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man imagine that We will not be able to bring his bones together again? 3 We certainly have the power to restore them even the very tips of their finger. 4 Rather, the human desires to continue in his immorality, 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 But when sight is confounded 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 And the sun and the moon will be united. 9 On that Day shall man say: whither is the fleeing. 10 No, there shall be no (place of) refuge. 11 With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest. 12 Upon that day man shall be told his former deeds and his latter; 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 And even if he presents all the excuses he has, none will be listened to. 15 [Prophet], do not move your tongue too fast in your attempt to learn this revelation: 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 When We have recited it, follow its words attentively; 18 Then Ours it is to explain it. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and neglect the Hereafter. 21 (Some) faces on that day shall be bright, 22 Looking toward their Lord; 23 And countenances on that Day shall be scowling. 24 knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them. 25 But, when (the soul) reaches the collar bone 26 And they will say, “Is there any one – any magician?” 27 And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation 28 And agony is heaped on agony; 29 The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! 30
