۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike; 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 nor shade and heat 21 Equal are not the living and the dead. Verily God makes those He will to listen; but you cannot make those hear who are in their graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 If they reject you, so did their predecessors. Messengers came to them with clear signs, with scriptures, and with the enlightening Book, 25 Then I seized the ones who disbelieved, and how [terrible] was My reproach. 26
