NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the sinners. 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 running away from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
