Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
