Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He was created of a gushing fluid, 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
