Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
