Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Nay, would that you knew with certainty of knowledge (what your attitude will lead to, you would never have acted the way you do). 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
