Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
Almighty Allah's Truth.
