The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
