Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 for an appointed time". 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
