The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
