Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
