Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 from the evil of the women who blow on knots; 4 and from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
