It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
