Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
