The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 The curtain drawn back from the skies, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 So where are you going? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
