۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
