Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
