Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
