Nay, by the moon, 32 by the retreating night, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
