Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
