In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Alif Lam Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book of wisdom. 2 A guidance and mercy for the righteous 3 Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and accept faith in the Hereafter. 4 It is they who are on guidance from their Lord, and only they are the successful. 5 But among men there are some who spend their time in idle diversions only to lead people astray from the path of God, and without knowledge, hold it up to ridicule: for such there is a humiliating punishment in store. 6 When Our revelations are recited to them, they turn back on their heels out of pride as if they did not hear them or their ears had been sealed off. Warn them of the painful torment. 7 For those who believe and work righteous deeds, there will be Gardens of Bliss,- 8 Wherein they abide eternally; [it is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 9 He created the skies without a support, as you can see, and placed stabilisers in the earth that you may dwell at ease as it revolves; and dispersed on it all varieties of creatures, and He sent down water from the skies and grew all kinds of splendid things upon it. 10 [All] this is God's creation: show Me, then, what others than He may have created! Nay, but the evildoers are obviously lost in error! 11
