Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
