۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
