The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
