Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no other god but He. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day," 59 Said the Council of his people, 'We see thee in manifest error.' 60 [Nuh (Noah)] said: "O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
