The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
