It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 "Verily, this we have been promised, we and our fathers before (us)! This is only the tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
