۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
