The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to the stinters; 1 Who insist on being given full when they take from others, 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 Do they not think that they will be resurrected 4 for a great Day, 5 The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjar (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjin. 7 How will you comprehend what Sijjin is? 8 It is a (repository of) distinctly written record. 9 Woe, that Day, to the deniers, 10 Who give the lie to the day of judgment. 11 for, none gives the lie to it but such as are wont to transgress against all that is [and are] immersed in sin: 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says: 'Fictitious tales of the ancients' 13 Nay, but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts. 14 No indeed; but upon that day they shall be veiled from their Lord, 15 Then they will indeed burn in Hell. 16 Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' 17 Surely the ledger of the pious will be in 'Illiyun (heights above the heights). 18 Would that you knew what Illiyin is! 19 a written record, 20 which the angels placed near Allah to safeguard. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 (reclining) upon couches they will gaze, 23 You will recognise in their faces the brightness of delight. 24 They will be served a drink of the finest sealed wine, 25 whose seal is musk so let all aspirants aspire after that 26 a wine tempered with the waters of Tasnim, 27 A fountain from which drink they who are drawn near (to Allah). 28 Behold, the wicked were wont to laugh at the believers: 29 and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively]; 30 and when they went back to their families, they went back jesting, 31 and whenever they see those [who believe,] they say: "Behold, these [people] have indeed gone astray!" 32 Yet they were not sent as watchers over them. 33 But today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers; 34 On adorned couches, observing. 35 Have the unbelievers been duly rewarded for their deeds? 36
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
