۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 "There is a small group of people 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
