The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Indeed, there came upon the human a period of time when he was an unremembered thing. 1 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. 2 Surely We guided him upon the way whether he be thankful or unthankful. 3 Surely We have prepared for the unbelievers chains and shackles and a burning fire. 4 The virtuous ones will drink from a cup containing camphor 5 This will be a gushing spring wherefrom Allah's servants shall drink wine, a spring from which they will take out channels wherever they wish. 6 The servants of God fulfill their vows and are afraid of the day in which there will be widespread terror. 7 who give food, for the love of Him to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, 8 They say to them, “We give you food, only for the sake of Allah – we do not seek any reward or thanks from you.” 9 We fear the dismal day calamitous from our Lord." 10 Therefor Allah hath warded off from them the evil of that day, and hath made them find brightness and joy; 11 For their patience, He will reward them with Paradise and silk. 12 Reclining therein upon couches, they will find there neither (heat of) a sun nor bitter cold. 13 since its [blissful] shades will come down low over them, and low will hang down its clusters of fruit, most easy to reach. 14 And there shall be made to go round about them vessels of silver and goblets which are of glass, 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes). 16 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger 17 from a fountain called Salsabila. 18 ۞ And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls. 19 And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion. 20 In it they adorn clothes of fine green silk and gold embroidery; and they are given silver bracelets to wear; and their Lord gave them pure wine to drink. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
