The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
