The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
