Hizb 46
< random >
And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or, do you have a clear authority? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 That they would be helped, 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 and peace be upon the Messengers, 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
