It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
