Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble scribes 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
