Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
