▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
