Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood, or hide the truth when you know it. 42 Attend to your prayers, give the zakat [prescribed alms] and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Will you bid others to piety, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book? Do you not understand? 44 Seek help with patience and prayer; this is indeed an exacting discipline, but not to the humble, 45 Who know that they have to meet their Lord, and that it is to Him they are to return. 46
