▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 a warning to mortal man 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
