The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He created the human 3 He hath taught him utterance. 4 The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation, 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance 7 That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance. 8 And observe correct measure, weigh with justice, and not cheat the balance. 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 Which favors of your Lord will you both (humans and jinn) belie? 13 He has created man out of sounding clay, like pottery, 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 Lord of the Two Easts, Lord of the Two Wests, 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another. 20 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 21 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. 22 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
