Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
CONSIDER the winds that scatter the dust far and wide, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 and the partitioners, 4 Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true, 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 Lo! ye, forsooth, are of various opinion (concerning the truth). 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 They but destroy themselves, they who are given to guessing at what they cannot ascertain 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 joyously receiving what their Lord will have granted them. Verily they did good works before (the coming of this Day): 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure, 20 And in your own souls (too); will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
