And when the caravan had departed, their father said: surely feel the smell of Yusuf, if ye think not that I am doting. 94 They said, "By God, you still persist in your illusions!" 95 Then, when the bearer of the glad tidings arrived, he cast it (the shirt) over his face, and he became clear-sighted. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which you know not. 96 Said (the sons): "O our father, pray for us that our sins be forgiven, for we are really sinners." 97 He said: "Soon will I ask my Lord for forgiveness for you: for he is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." 98 When they went back to Joseph he gave his father and mother a place of honour, and said: "Enter Egypt in peace by the will of God." 99 And he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down in prostration before him, and he said: O my father! this is the significance of my vision of old; my Lord has indeed made it to be true; and He was indeed kind to me when He brought me forth from the prison and brought you from the desert after the Shaitan had sown dissensions between me and my brothers, surely my Lord is benignant to whom He pleases; surely He is the Knowing, the Wise. 100 ۞ My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous." 101 (O Muhammad), this is part of news from the Unseen that We reveal to you for you were not present with them when Joseph's brothers jointly resolved on a plot. 102 Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind have, however ardently thou dost desire it. 103 And you do not ask them for a reward for this; it is nothing but a reminder for all mankind. 104
