The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
