The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
