Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
