The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
