We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
